Choptank Heritage Skipjack Race

Page 4

When you photograph skipjacks, anywhere you point the camera you get artistic pictures.  I had never traveled on a skipjack until the invitation was extended to go up the Chesapeake Bay to Havre de Grace, Maryland aboard the MARTHA LEWIS.  Until this boat ride, I didn't fully understand the functionality of the pushboat.  Now after seeing first hand how it works, I have one adjective to describe the concept: dazzling!
